BenQ announced during the last hours the availability of a new 4K monitor named BenQ EW3270U. This is a display that is characterized by some undoubtedly interesting specifications, suitable for a fairly large audience even if characterized by a price, not really content.
Let’s talk about a display with a 31.5-inches LED UHD panel with 4K (3820×2160 pixels) resolution, a very good contrast ratio that stands at a value of 3000:1 but, unfortunately, not so good at maximum brightness, being in the data declared by the company, it should be about 300 cd/m2, a value that can certainly be improved and which, among other things, precludes the possibility of reproducing a real HDR, so the monitor will be able to receive HDR signals, but not able to show its contents properly.
The response time is 9ms with 4 ms gray-to-gray, but it was not strictly necessary to obtain a significantly better data since it was not a display for gamers. But there is a rather interesting technology inside this new BenQ EW3270U 4K monitor, namely the Brightness Intelligence Plus Technology, which automatically adjusts the intensity of the brighter areas, reducing the contrast with the darker ones, safeguarding the view of those who work for many hours in front of the monitor.
There is also compatibility with the AMD FreeSync technology, while regards to the connections available, we will have 1x DisplayPort 1.2, 2x HDMI 2.0, 1x USB-C and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
BenQ EW3270U price is $699 and it will be available to buy through Amazon.com.
