Zeiss launches Supreme Prime 15mm T1.8 Cine Lens

Digital film and video cameras, as well as film cameras with image sensors in the classic “Super 35” cinema film format (approximately APS-C) and 35 mm full format (about 35 mm) or larger, Zeiss offers its “Supreme Prime” family of lenses, which include 13 fast fixed focal lengths from 18mm to 200mm. With the Zeiss Supreme Prime 15mm T1.8, Zeiss is introducing its latest cine lens, completing the successful “Supreme Prime” family, which is known for the highest quality, low weight, and versatile look. With its 14-part high-end film lens series from 15mm to 200mm and a maximum aperture of T1.5 to T2.2, Zeiss covers a focal length spectrum that is in demand by filmmakers from all over the world.

The new 15mm lens complements the range with an extremely wide-angle and a maximum aperture of T1.8. The Zeiss Supreme Primes cover a wide range of camera sensors. Due to their wide compatibility with current camera models such as the Sony Venice, the ARRI Alexa (Mini) LF, or the RED Monstro and their high-quality workmanship and robust construction, Supreme Primes can be used flexibly in a wide variety of situations.
