Meike launches 105mm T2.1 FF Prime Cine Lens

Meike has introduced the new 105mm T2.1 FF Prime Cine Lens. The lens complements a series of T2.1 aperture film production optics that includes 24mm T2.1, 35mm T2.1, 50mm T2.1, and 85mm T2.1 lenses. The 105mm T2.1 lens weighs 1.1kg and is available in PL, Canon EF, Canon RF, Sony E, and Leica L mounts.

Meike’s complete range of prime cinema lenses now includes 16mm T2.5, 24mm T2.1, 35mm T2.1, 50mm T2.1, 85mm T2.1, the brand new 105mm T2.1, and 135mm T2.4 lenses.

The optical scheme of the new Meike prime cine lens consists of 11 elements in 7 groups, the aperture is 11 blades. The minimum focusing distance is 1 m and it covers an image circle of 45mm. The diameter for the filter is 82 mm, the focus ring rotates 330 degrees, and the aperture and focus ring are equipped with standard 0.8 pitch gears.

Last year, Meike unveiled its new cine prime lens, the Meike 75mm T2.1 Super35 Cine for EF and PL mount. This PL and EF lens joined the Meike S35 Cine Lens lineup, which includes the previously released Meike 35mm T2.1 and Meike 50mm T2.1 cine lenses.
