With the VX2418C, ViewSonic presents a new best 24 inch monitor with a curved FHD display that covers both classic office applications and gaming. The new 165Hz gaming monitor is inexpensive and can also be used as a second monitor in the home office for multimedia and gaming.
ViewSonic VX2418C is an inexpensive 24-inch curved gaming monitor with Full HD resolution. The immersive 1500R curved gaming display VX2418C scores with useful features such as a high refresh rate of 165 Hz, a response time of 1 ms (MPRT), and support of AMD FreeSync Premium against tearing and stuttering for a smooth gaming experience.
The ViewSonic VX2418C also offers other features such as ViewMode presets that can be selected as presets for various home entertainment applications such as watching movies, editing files, or playing computer and console games. In terms of connectivity options, the VX2418C 165 Hz monitor provides two HDMI (v1.4) and one DisplayPort (v1.2) input. There is also a 3.5mm audio jack for headsets or external speakers.
The best curved gaming monitor from ViewSonic features a 24-inch SuperClear VA panel with Full HD resolution (1,920 x 1,080 pixels), a native contrast ratio of 3000:1, and a brightness of 250 cd/m2. The Curved 1500R display offers an optimal overview of all elements on the screen thanks to its curvature. The VX2418C also has a blue light filter to prevent headaches and eye aches. Two integrated 2-watt stereo speakers provide the sound.
ViewSonic states a typical power consumption of 23 watts for its inexpensive VX2418C. In the ECO (optimal) and ECO (min.) settings, the VX2418C consumes around 19 watts and 15 watts respectively, while the ViewSonic monitor uses 0.5 watts on standby. When switched off, the all-around monitor still draws 0.3 watts. ViewSonic puts the energy consumption of the VX2418C at 21 kWh/1000 h.
