ViewSonic Elite XG320U 32-inch 4K 144Hz Gaming Monitor with FreeSync Premium Pro, DisplayHDR 600, and HDMI 2.1

ViewSonic announced the availability of the Elite XG320U gaming monitor which was revealed last August. The ViewSonic Elite XG320U would be the best 32 inch 4K monitor for gaming designed for Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, and PC gamers. The 4K Ultra HD display supports HDMI 2.1, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and 1ms MPRT.

ViewSonic announced a 32 inch gaming monitor line under the Elite brand last August. This line included the Elite XG320Q, the Elite XG320U, and the Elite XG321UG with mini LED backlighting. Today, ViewSonic is offering additional details and pricing information for the Elite XG320U.

The ViewSonic Elite XG320U is primarily aimed at gaming on next-gen consoles such as the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, although it does offer specs that might appeal to the large PC crowd as well. The Elite XG320U supports the HDMI 2.1 standard for 4K 144Hz output. The refresh rate can be overclocked up to 150Hz by switching to DisplayPort-out. ViewSonic announces a 1ms MPRT with the Elite XG320U.

The Viewsonic 144hz 4K monitor is capable of reaching 400 nits of brightness and is certified for VESA DsiplayHDR 600. The display covers 99% of the Adobe RGB color gamut and is also AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certified. Although the specifications do not explicitly mention HDR support, FreeSync Premium Pro implies HDR capabilities in games supported. ViewSonic uses proprietary PureXP technology to reduce motion blur in games.

Price and availability

The Elite XG320U also comes with a few accessories such as a headphone hook and an anchor for the mouse cable. The monitor will be available for pre-order via Bhphotovideo.com at $999.99.

The ViewSonic recently also introduced the new 34 inch monitor named VX3418-2KPC. 144Hz 1440p curved ultrawide monitor features a VA panel with UWQHD resolution (3440 x 1440 pixels, 21:9), refresh rate up to 144 Hz, and 1500 R curvature.
