Sennheiser’s upcoming earbuds are from its ACCENTUM series. Available in three colors and multiple markets, the ACCENTUM True Wireless Earbuds feature 7mm dynamic drivers and support Bluetooth LC3 and Qualcomm aptX codecs, among other features.
A few months have passed since Sennheiser introduced the ACCENTUM Plus, a pair of wireless headphones offering up to 50 hours of battery life. It also began selling the ACCENTUM True Wireless, a pair of earbuds sold in black, white, and blue.
According to the company, its new earbuds combine 7mm drivers and 8 hours of battery life, or 28 hours if you factor in the charging case. The latter also supports Qi wireless charging and USB Type-C wired charging, 10 minutes of the latter allowing up to 1 hour of playback. Sennheiser adds that the ACCENTUM True Wireless earbuds also support Bluetooth 5.3 as well as LC3 and Qualcomm aptX high-definition codecs.
Please note that the earbuds also support lower-resolution AAC and SBC codecs. In addition, ACCENTUM True Wireless offers Hybrid ANC and Transparency modes. Sennheiser advertises that the headphones support Auracast and LE Audio. However, it will introduce these features through a firmware update only after the device’s release.
ACCENTUM True Wireless Earbuds price and release date
Sennheiser has set the price of the ACCENTUM True Wireless at $199.95 / £169.99. The earbuds are available for pre-order on Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk. The new Sennheiser Wireless Earbuds will be released on May 21, 2024.
