Qysea, a manufacturer of underwater robotic drone models, has unveiled its latest product, the Fifish V-EVO. This compact drone comes equipped with a 4K camera capable of shooting video at 60 frames per second, making it perfect for researchers seeking to capture ultra-high-resolution, slow-motion footage up to 100 meters below the water’s surface.
Like most underwater drones, the Qysea Fifish V-EVO comes with a coil and cable system to establish communication between the device and its operator. The drone is controlled via a remote that is connected to the cable, allowing the operator to send commands while viewing real-time footage on their smartphone. The cable supplied with the drone is 100 meters long, enabling it to dive to the maximum depth.
The 4K camera of the Fifish V-EVO drone features a 166-degree ultra-wide-angle lens and is equipped with two forward-facing spotlights with a brightness of 5000 lumens and a temperature of 5500K. These spotlights are brighter than any other compact underwater drone from Qysea and help illuminate dark underwater space. The drone also has an AI image enhancement system that filters out white sea flakes caused by plankton, enhancing the sharpness of the footage.
The Qysea underwater robotic drone boasts six motors that provide full 360-degree freedom of movement, and its hydrodynamic design provides minimal resistance to ocean currents, allowing for longer dives. It is suitable for both amateur and professional use and can be used for filming, deep-sea exploration, marine monitoring, and scuba excursions.

The Fifish V-EVO drone is available for purchase on Amazon.com and Bhphotovideo.com for $1,299. For those who wish to install a robotic arm on the drone, the price will increase to $1,599.
In addition, DJI has introduced its new Mavic 3 Pro drone camera for photography, which features an additional telephoto camera with a larger sensor and higher resolution than the regular Mavic 3. The Hasselblad main camera with a large Four-Thirds sensor is still included in the new model.
