The LG Gram series gets a new member with the SuperSlim, which is even thinner than the LG Gram Ultraslim. Despite the height of just over 1.2 centimeters, LG hardly wants to make any compromises in terms of performance or battery life.
In addition to the regular Gram 14, Gram 16, and Gram 17, the LG Gram 2023 laptop series also includes the 998-gram light LG Gram Style, two convertibles, and the LG Gram Ultraslim. LG has now introduced an even thinner laptop with the Gram SuperSlim – with a height of 1.24 centimeters at the thickest point, the device is around 0.2 millimeters thinner than the ultra slim according to LG’s technical data.
However, it should only be a variant of the Ultraslim, because not only the design is practically identical, but the equipment also largely corresponds to the Ultraslim. LG Gram’s new one installs an Intel Core i7-1360P, which has four performance cores with clock frequencies of up to 5.0 GHz and eight efficiency cores. The chip relies on Intel’s fastest iGPU, the Intel Iris Xe Graphics G7 with 96 execution units.
The LG Gram ultra light notebook has a 60 Wh battery that achieves a runtime of 13 hours in MobileMark 2018, and video playback should even be possible for 16 hours before the laptop has to be plugged in again. The notebook has 2 x 2-watt stereo speakers and a 15.6-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, which can fully display the DCI-P3 color space. LG installs three USB-C ports, two of which support Thunderbolt 4, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

The LG Gram SuperSlim (15Z90RT) is available now on Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk. The base model with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD costs $1,699, and the top model with 32 GB RAM and 2 TB SSD costs $1,999.
