The AVC-X3700H and AVC-X4700H Denon Receivers with HDMI 2.1

The AVC-X3700H and AVC-X4700H Denon receivers have been introduced. This new Denon AV Receiver 2020 models we are talking about are the same that we have dealt with over the past week.

This new Denon HEOS home stereo receiver features a 9-channel amplifier with 7 HDMI inputs and 3 outputs. Inputs can manage signals up to 8K resolution at 60 Hz or Ultra HD at 120 Hz and upscaling up to 8K can also be performed (apparently on a single dedicated port).

It is equipped with HDMI 2.1 that also supports Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) which can also convey lossless tracks. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and allows full integration with the HEOS multi-room music streaming system, capable of spreading music in every room of your home. You can also use streaming services such as Spotify, Amazon Music, Tidal, Deezer, and voice assistants like Alexa, Siri, and Google Assistant.

Denon AVC-X3700H has been priced at $1,199 and is now listed on the Newegg.com store.

Denon AVC-X4700H

The X4700H home theater receiver stands halfway between the products mentioned with its 9.2 channels and a power of 200W. By using the pre-out outputs, a maximum of 11.2 channels can be managed.

The amplifier supports all popular audio formats including Dolby Atmos, DTS:X , Auro-3D and IMAX Enhanced. The most interesting aspect is related to the presence of an input and an output compatible with signals up to 8K resolution at 60 Hz or Ultra HD up to 120 Hz .

The AVC-X4700H also features Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) mode that ensures the fastest response to commands is automatically selected.
Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) the refresh rate of the images on the screen can adapt to that of the source in real-time, avoiding the occurrence of defects (in video games) such as “stutter” and “tearing”, and eARC improved audio return channel capable of supporting even lossless tracks.

Finally, compatibility with all HDR formats is added: HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, and Dolby Vision. The equipment also includes the voice assistants Google Assistant, Alexa, and Siri.

Denon AVC-X3700H has also been listed on the Newegg.com online store for $1,699.

Apart from new Denon receivers, the company earlier this year has introduced the flagship Denon DJ Prime 2 and Prime Go DJ equipments at NAMM 2020.
