TCL has expanded its 20 series latest android phone portfolio with TCL 20 Pro 5G which has an intelligent display and an elegant design. The new android mobile complements the TCL 20 5G and TCL 20 SE, which were presented at CES 2021 at the beginning of the year.

TCL 20 Pro 5G phone

With TCL 20 Pro 5G, TCL wants to score points with its own and proprietary display optimization technology called “TCL Nxtvision”, which is supposed to provide sharper details and higher contrast on the mobile phone display to improve the visual experience in real life.

The new TCL android cell phone has also been confirmed by Google as an “Android Enterprise Recommended” device. TCL joins the list of companies whose devices are recommended by Google for business use. Android Enterprise Recommended sets best practices and general requirements that are backed by a rigorous testing process conducted by Google. Every Android Enterprise Recommended device is scanned against corporate requirements for performance, consistency, and security updates. The list includes companies such as Google, Kyocera, Motorola, Nokia, OnePlus, Oppo, Samsung, Sharp, and Xiaomi.

The TCL 20 Pro 5G offers display and camera upgrades thanks to Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G 5G connectivity and compared to the other phones in the 20 series. It is equipped with a curved 6.67-inch AMOLED display (FHD + 2,400 x 1,080 pixels) and offers a particularly immersive viewing experience thanks to the new intelligent Nxtvision 2.0 display technology from Pixelworks. The intelligent display technology of the second generation should ensure a very high color accuracy by recognizing screen contents and scenes and automatically adjusting color, contrast, and sharpness to enable a more precise and adaptive calibration. The 20 Pro 5G also supports HDR10 playback for streaming TV series, documentaries, and movies on Netflix.

The independent third-party test laboratory Dxomark recently tested the TCL 20 Pro 5G: In terms of color rendering, the 20 Pro 5G makes it to the top of the ranking and even beats the previous leader in this discipline, the OnePlus 8 Pro. With an overall score of 89 points, the 20 Pro 5G is close to the top duo of the current display rankings from Dxomark, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G (Exynos) and Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G (Snapdragon) and shows a significantly improved performance in terms of colors, movements and touches compared to its direct predecessor.

The TCL 20 Pro 5G also has a quad-camera with a Sony IMX 582 main sensor as well as lenses for ultra-wide angle, macro, and depth sensors and an HDR-capable 32 MP front camera. The 4,500 mAh battery supports up to 18 watts Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 (9 V / 2 A) and up to 15 watts wireless charging.
