With three innovations, Sony is expanding its range of Sony E mount lenses. The three Sony lenses E mount are for the mirrorless camera system with a small image sensor in APS-C or half format. The trio of innovations consists of the two high-speed ultra-wide-angle Sony E 15mm f1.4 G and Sony E 11mm f1.8 lenses, the 35mm format related to a 22.5 mm and a 16.5 mm correspond. Third in the group is the PowerZom Sony E 10-20mm f4 PZ G, which offers motorized focal length adjustment via buttons and thus enables smooth zooming during focal length adjustment and without tearing the lens.
The new wide-angle Sony E mount lenses Sony E 15mm f1.4 G, Sony E 10-20mm f4 PZ G, and Sony E 11mm f1.8 offer creative people with excellent resolution and a compact format. The number of native Sony E-mount lenses thus increases to a total of 70.
The first of the new models, the Sony E 10-20mm f4 PZ G with a focal length of 10-20mm in APS-C format or 15-30mm equivalent to 35mm focal length, is the world’s smallest and lightest APS-C -Ultra wide-angle lens with power zoom and constant F4 aperture. The excellent image quality of the G lenses, flawless autofocus (AF) performance, and a versatile power zoom are combined here in a compact zoom lens whose length remains constant when zooming. The model impresses with strong visual expression and excellent operability when filming as well as taking photos.
The Sony E 15mm f1.4 G with a 35mm equivalent focal length of 22.5mm, is a versatile APS-C lens with great creative potential, boasting gorgeous F1.4 bokeh and the outstanding resolution of the G- lenses. The compact and lightweight prime lens delivers vivid images, has excellent autofocus and versatile control options, and is easy to use for both photos and video recordings.
The Sony E 11mm f1.8 with a 35mm equivalent focal length of 16.5mm, is a large-aperture APS-C ultra-wide-angle prime lens. It offers excellent edge-to-edge resolution, stunning bokeh, and fast, reliable autofocus for expressive images and impressive selfies.
