Sony announced the Alpha a5100 compact cameras new range of their users.
Only a few months after the launch of the Sony Alpha 6000, Sony has announced new upgraded version, called Alpha a5100. Sony tried to take the features of the A6000 onto the A5000 to create a new product, together with cheap camera price and attractive features.

Sony Alpha a5100 has a CMOS sensor Exmor APS-C 24.3 megapixel resolution like A6000, X BIONZ processor, along with a hybrid autofocus system. It has the ability to focus in 0.07 seconds or focus on both moving animals and subject when shooting or video recording.
In addition to high-quality sensor, Sony Alpha a5100 features high quality video of same Alpha A6000, including XAVC S codec standard or much higher than the AVCHD codec.
Alpha a5100 has a 3inch screen with a resolution of 192,000 pixels, capable of 180-degree turn to self-shooting for selfie. Its display also features touch support with auto focus and WI-Fi, NFC to transmit or wireless control via Sony’s app on Android and iOS.
A big difference between a5100 and Alpha A6000 is it small and remove some features such as electronic viewfinder, microphone jack, and a few buttons to adjust the function. Overall, Alpha a5100 is also meets the all quality and requirements for professional photography.
This model will be available in September for $ 700, or 550, 16-50mm tube attached to the camera body.
Sony alpha news posted some specifications for the Sony Alpha a5100, which is a lower version of Alpha 6000.
Sony a5100 equipped autofocus system under phase with 179 points and 25 point AF contrast. Standard Sony alpha lenses can record Full HD video. Supports ISO range of 100 to 25,600, shutter speed 1/4000 Sec maximum, integrated flash and shutter speed 6 frames per second.
The Sony alpha camera also has SD memory cards and batteries take around 400 clicks per charge.
