Whether you’re recording a podcast at home, singing in a new song, or streaming it on Twitch and elsewhere, the MV7 is perfect for that. You will find an XLR and USB connection on the back. So you can decide for yourself, in which setup you want to use the MV7. The technology is inspired by the classic SM7B – a Shure mic that is known for its high flexibility and an official sound. Shure MV7 adapts to users’ voices, cardioid polar pattern ensures that as little as possible is captured from the environment and that the voice is in the foreground. The manufacturer calls the special construction,  including the integrated shock mount Voice Isolation Technology. The Auto Level mode makes an automatic level control and compensates for fluctuations in the microphone distance. Anyone who has ever made voice or vocal recordings knows how great the influence of the distance to the microphone is on the sound. This is very advantageous with a live stream and the post-processing is also less time-consuming.

You operate it on the integrated touch panel. control levels, headphone volumes, monitor mix, and mic-mute, and user-defined settings can be locked.
