DuraPlex is a new series of Shure microphones. There are two Shure mics: DL4 lavalier microphone wireless and DH5 omnidirectional headset microphone that want to impress with their robust construction and different colors.
According to Shure, the new mini Shure mics were built for the “toughest conditions”. This is certainly very welcome in theater, film, and television productions or in fitness courses and company events.
In addition to the robust construction, the microphones are characterized by an IP57 certification. So the new series not only repels dirt, dust, and sweat but is even waterproof.
The cable technology with a 1.6 mm cable corresponds to the TwinPlex series. The dual-redundant ground in the cable serves as a secondary shield, giving it unprecedented durability and immunity to memory effect and kinks.
Both the DL4 lavalier microphone and the DH5 headset microphone have an omnidirectional characteristic, the MEMS microphone capsule is supposed to deliver neutral sound quality with low inherent noise in a wide variety of environments.
The Shure microphones are available in different colors and come with some accessories. You will find a soft case, clip-on, and foam windshield as well as a clip-on clip and an equalization cap with height adjustment included. The DL4 also includes an adhesive holder.
The DuraPlex DH5 headset mic is available in beige, cocoa, and black. It has a brushed steel neckband. The DL4 lavalier microphones are available in black, beige, cocoa, and white.
