Behringer is not only busy building new synthesizer clones, but of course, also continues to bring out affordable equipment for the studio. New Behringer DI4800A is an active DI box with a Booster and Line isolator. You process four channels with this compact 19″ direct box.
ULTRA-DI PRO DI4800A is what Behringer calls this device, which takes up one height unit in the rack. Four “first-class” DI channels, each equipped with one input (Neutrik XLR / jack combo) and two gold-coated XLR outputs. One of the outputs is on the front, the other on the back. There is also a button that lowers the output signal by -20 dB when activated. The outputs are equipped with Behringer OT-1 transformers. They should deliver as little noise as possible and linear frequency response.
The Direct box is designed in such a way that you can send in pretty much any signal, whether it’s guitars, basses, or synthesizers/keyboards. With +6 dB and +12 dB buttons you provide amplification, both buttons can also be switched on together and then create +18 dB gain. Ground lift helps you to eliminate hum.
The active DI box receives its power from an external power supply unit, which is included in the delivery. It is powered via an external DC power supply, with optional battery-powered operation available separately.

Earlier this year, Behringer has introduced the 961 Interface. This new Behringer audio Interface is a Eurorack-compatible multichannel trigger converter module based on the authentic circuit designs from the Moog Modular System 55, and it has the ability to set a delay or a time offset to the converted version.
