Rokinon Xeen Meister 14mm T2.6 and 24mm T1.3 cine lenses now available

Rokinon has expanded its Xeen Meister optics lineup with the introduction of two new wide-angle lenses: the Xeen Meister 14mm T2.6 and the Xeen Meister 24mm T1.3. These new Rokinon Xeen Meister lenses cater to full-frame sensors, boast a 13-blade aperture, and offer compatibility with various bayonet mounts, including PL, Canon EF, or Sony E-Mount.

Rokinon Xeen Meister, 14mm T2.6, 24mm T1.3,

The initial trio of lenses in the Xeen Meister series featured focal lengths of 35mm, 50mm, and 85mm, all equipped with a maximum aperture of T1.3, and they made their debut in November 2021. These lenses were meticulously crafted for full-frame sensors and were available as a set of three lenses for $21,995.

Now, Rokinon has unveiled three new members in the Rokinon Xeen Meister lens family, sharing many of the characteristics of their predecessors. Notably, the lens housing’s front portion is constructed using titanium, ensuring durability and robustness. The focus ring impressively provides a 300-degree rotation, while both the aperture and focus rings maintain consistent placement across the entire optics range.

Additionally, the scales on these lenses are thoughtfully positioned on both sides, featuring luminescent markings for enhanced visibility in low-light conditions.

Another notable similarity to the previously released lenses is the support for Canon EF, Sony E, or PL mounts. However, it’s worth mentioning that the PL-mount version offers compatibility with the Cooke i-Technology protocol, enabling the recording of valuable lens metadata for a more comprehensive shooting experience.
