QNAP Systems introduced the NVR-QVP-41B NVR network surveillance server with an integrated Power over Ethernet switch. With sixteen Gigabit PoE ports, two RJ45/SFP combo ports, and two 2.5GbE ports, the PoE switch supports all kinds of PoE devices and allows you to quickly build an intelligent infrastructure.

QNAP NVR QVP-41B is based on a quad-core Intel Celeron J4125 processor. The server features 8GB DDR4 RAM, two M.2 SATA slots, and four 3.5″ SATA drive bays. Ethernet over power switch integrated into the QVP-41B complies with the IEEE 802.3at PoE+ standard and has sixteen PoE ports up to 30W per port and a total power budget of 140W.

According to the manufacturer, this is enough to meet the needs of a variety of cameras, including 4K pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) cameras and ONVIF-compliant speed domes, as well as devices such as IP phones, digital signage, and lighting appliances. The advantages of the QVP-41B in this aspect include support for smart Power over Ethernet switch functions that facilitate centralized management of IT staff, including scheduling, prioritization, and power on/off.

QVP-41B comes with QNAP QVR Pro video surveillance software. Of course, the server is compatible with other video surveillance applications. QVP Center software allows you to centrally manage multiple QVR Pro servers and receive event notifications, QVR Smart Search can find event records within a specified time and area, and QVR Pro Client allows you to monitor different platforms and switch between live view and playback mode flexibly.
