The LAVA ME 2 model can withstand temperatures from -20 to 90 degrees Celsius and humidity from 10% to 90%. The LAVA ME 3 is made of AirSonic 2, the manufacturer’s latest carbon fiber composite, which is said to be 30% more durable than the previous generation.
The LAVA ME 3 smart guitar is equipped with a 3.5-inch multi-touch display, making the guitar as intuitive as smartphones. Accompanying the display is the HILAVA control system, which supports a range of useful apps that allow the player to access functions such as the tuner, metronome, effects pedal, looper pedal, and recorder without connecting an external device.
The basic effects include standards such as reverb, delay, auto-wah, chorus, octaver, and doubler, but also algorithms from modern electronic genres. The parameters can be adjusted down to the smallest detail. So you are not dealing with finished presets that can never be changed again.
Other apps are must-have tools like tuner, metronome, and recorder. They are easily accessible with a simple tap. Thanks to the recording function, you will never lose ideas again when your muse spontaneously kisses you.
The Loops app offers over 100 grooves from different genres. You can create recordings on the loops and record up to 4 tracks. Once your work is complete, you can instantly share it on social media and the LAVA+ mobile app (iOS and Android). It is an online music community where players can share music.
The Practice App offers five modes: chord changes, strumming, scale training, ear training, and single notes. A sound recognition technology ensures that the accuracy and consistency of the game are recognized, and that appropriate information is given in the event of deviations. It provides players with a detailed report after each practice so they can analyze their progress.
The so-called FreeBoost technology uses the back of the guitar as a speaker. The sound quality of the LAVA ME 3 has been further improved compared to the previous generation: FreeBoost 2.0 now delivers 20% deeper bass.

The Smart guitar price starts from $999, and it is already available to buy on the Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk websites. It is available in 36 and 38 inches (2080 and 2250 grams) and has modern finishes ranging from white to pink, soft gold, blue and red to space gray. The extensive equipment is rounded off by a PLEKted fretboard, an absolutely spacious charging station for wireless charging (alternatively via USB C), and Elixir strings.
