QNAP QSW-M5216-1T managed switch configuration includes 16 25GbE ports

The QNAP catalog has been expanded with the new QSW-M5216-1T managed network switch. Its configuration includes 16 25GbE (SFP28) ports and one 10GbE (RJ45) port. In addition, there is a 1GbE port for managing the switch.

The QNAP QSW-M5216-1T has a combined switching capacity of 820Gbps and a non-blocking throughput of 410 Gbps. All 25Gb/s SFP28 ports are backward compatible with 10Gb/s SFP+ network cards. The RJ45 port supports 100Mbps, 1Gbps, and up to 10Gbps, and in addition to the 1Gbps management port, there is an RS232 serial port. The QSW-M5216-1T switch allows you to combine four ports into a channel with a bandwidth of 100 Gbps.

The QSW-M5216-1T managed network switch can serve as the core switch uplinking to 25G/100G Servers and NAS in server rooms or connecting to 25G/10G edge fiber switches. Along with sixteen 25GbE SFP28 fiber ports, the QSW-M5216-1T has one 10GBASE-T port for enabling hybrid high-speed networks. Its 25GbE SFP28 interfaces are backward compatible with 10GbE SFP+/1GbE SFP, and 10GbE RJ45 is compatible with NBASE-T technologies to support five speeds (10G / 5G / 2.5G / 1G / 100M).

Because it is a Layer 2 Managed Switch, it supports features such as LACP. VLAN, QoS, and ICMP snooping, as well as several other features inherent in this type of switch.
