Nintendo announced that the entertaining real-time strategy game Pikmin 3 will make the leap from Wii U to Nintendo Switch game in October. The Nintendo game comes as a deluxe version, which not only contains all additional content, but also some innovations.
The Wii U wasn’t particularly successful, but Nintendo has released some games for the console that no fan should miss. All the better that many of the most popular titles are gradually being released for the new Nintendo Switch (approx. $290 on Amazon), including Pikmin 3 Deluxe. If you are not familiar with the series – this is how Nintendo describes the gameplay:
“You lead an army of clever tiny beings and explore an inhospitable planet with them in an exciting mix of action and strategy. In a lovingly designed environment full of surprises, you have to use the skills of the different Pikmin species to find valuable items, overcome obstacles and stand up to powerful creatures.”
In the trailer embedded below you can get a first impression of the new Nintendo switch game. The deluxe version not only contains all DLC content from the original, but also some new content, above all a brand new prologue and epilogue with the heroes from Pikmin 2.
The entire campaign can be played in the new version together with a friend in co-op mode, and so that this is not too easy for veterans, there are new levels of difficulty. The aiming of opponents, which is sometimes somewhat spongy, is said to have been revised.
Pikmin 3 Deluxe will be available for Nintendo Switch on October 30th, and the game can now be pre-ordered from the Bestbuy.com e-shop for $59.99.
Back in June, Aspyr has also announced the Star Wars Episode l: Racer for Nintendo Switch, it is a classic Nintendo 64 racing game, based on the podracing sequence in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, is back with modernized controls.
