Philips 346E2LAE 34-inch UWQHD monitor with 100 Hz

With the 346E2LAE, the MMD brand Philips lists a new 34 inch monitor that is an all-around device. The UltraWide monitor has a VA panel with a resolution of 3440×1440 pixels (UWQHD, 21:9), achieves a refresh rate of up to 100 Hz, and does without HDR support or curvature.

Other key data include 300 cd/m² brightness, 121.32 percent sRGB, and 31 watts of power consumption. The contrast ratio is 4000:1, the response time at 4 ms (gray to gray), and the color depth at 8 bits.

Adaptive Sync (whether with or without LFC is unclear) eliminates tearing in games. Alternatively, a mode against the blurring of moving images (SmartImage) is available. Picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture modes have also been thought of, so you can display content from two different sources at the same time.

On the interface side, DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 2.0, a USB 3.2 hub (Gen 1), a headphone output, and USB-C with DisplayPort alternate mode and a 65-watt power supply are offered. If desired, two internal 3-watt loudspeakers can be used as sound generators. On the ergonomic side, the 34-inch model features tilt, height adjustment, VESA mount (100 x 100 mm), blue light filtering, and a flicker-free backlight.

The Philips 346E2LAE weighs 5.43 kg without the stand, measures 817 x 365 x 49 mm (W x H x D), and is mercury-free.
