OnePlus 6 could be very close to the official launch, according to a tweet published in the last hours by the leaker Ricciolo. The tweet is in question comes as a denial of one of the images that began to circulate yesterday and we have avoided bringing you back as clearly false. Inside it was reported the May 5 date as that of the official presentation event, however, Ricciolo categorically denied what was affirmed by the fake red poster, suggesting different timing.
According to Ricciolo, OnePlus will hold an event on May 2 at the same time worldwide in different cities, according to what he has been able to learn personally. Obviously, it is not possible to confirm the certain date, but it is now confirmed that OnePlus 6 is close to the time of the debut. It is also possible that the event will be held between 1 and 2 May, since the tweet reports both dates and specifies Asia for the second date, suggesting that the Asian presentation will take place on the morning of 2, while for the USA – will still be May 1.

Multiple city announcement#OnePlus6— Ricciolo (@Ricciolo1) April 9, 2018
In addition to the alleged teaser announcement, a second image emerged that depicts a render of OnePlus 6 – very similar to that made by VanyaGeskin – in which there are the OnePlus logo and the DxOMark logo, accompanied by the words See you soon. Even this image is quite dubious, although it could still be some advertising material which with the Chinese company tries to suggest an excellent score at the famous site.
The news on OnePlus 6 does not seem to end here since in the last hours emerged a very short 3-second video that seems to show the front of the device. The video does not allow us to take a full look at the smartphone but is limited to the upper part, characterized by the presence of the notch. The typical OnePlus widgets confirm that the OxygenOS ROM, however, the quality of the video is also very poor, so it does not allow further investigation.
