HyperX Pulsefire Surge is a new RGB gaming mouse with Pixart 3389 sensor up to 16,000 DPI, Omron switch and RGB LED lighting. The design of the mouse is relatively sober for the industry and winner of a Reddot Design Award 2018. It is formally symmetrical and would be almost ambidextrous if it were not that the two side buttons operated by the thumb are only on the left side.
The lighting effects can be customized using the NGenuity proprietary software; however, the various profiles can be saved directly on the mouse, which is equipped with a small internal memory. The LED strip runs throughout the perimeter of the mouse but is divided into zones that can be customized independently. There are also several animations to choose from.
With the software, it is also possible to change the sensor sensitivity – the available steps are 800, 1.600, 3.200, 6.400 and 16.000 DPI, but can be customized. It is possible to associate a chromatic profile at each sensitivity level. Mouse memory can also be used to record macros and save key assignment profiles. NGenuity includes optimized configurations for a wide range of games.
HyperX Pulsefire Surge RGB gaming mouse has been priced at $69.99 and it has already listed on Amazon.com.
