The South Korean electronics giant LG has announced several new touchscreen monitors for the business sector under the “One: Quick” brand. The 55-inch LG 55CT5WJ One: Quick Works 4K Ultra HD touch display is the flagship of the new series and won a Red Dot Design Award and an iF Design Award in 2021.
The touch screen display is applied as a conference solution with 4K – resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels), a UHD- webcam, several enclosed in the top of the screen microphones, and internal speakers. External devices are not necessary to operate the 55-inch monitor, as it has its own integrated Windows PC.
Thanks to its touch capability, the monitor functions as a whiteboard and can capture voices from up to six meters away. The camera can automatically focus people speaking at a viewing angle of a maximum of 120 degrees and disappears into the housing when not needed. The microphones can also be switched off.
The LG 55CT5WJ One: Quick Works offers access to the video conferencing application One: Quick Remote Meeting, which has a wide range of features, from file exchange and interactive real-time drawing to third-party apps such as Zoom.
With the LG 43HT3WJ One: Quick Flex, a smaller sister model is also coming onto the market. The 43-inch touch display comes up with 4K resolution, whiteboard functionality, webcam (88-degree field of view), and microphone.
