LG 65EP5G UltraFine OLED Pro 4K Monitor with 65″ Display and HDMI 2.1

The South Korean electronics group LG is expanding its still young OLED display family for creative people with the 65-inch LG 65EP5G aka LG UltraFine OLED Pro 4K OLED monitor.

The new OLED screen has a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels (4K) with a maximum refresh rate of 60 Hz. The contrast ratio is put at 1,850,000: 1, the response time at 0.1 ms (gray to gray), the color depth at 10 bits, and the peak brightness at 1000 cd/m².

Also promised are 98.5 percent DCI-P3, 120 percent Rec. 709, integrated hardware calibration, and the DisplayHDR 400 True Black certification. On the interface side, HDMI 2.1, RJ-45, SDI, USB-A 2.0 and a headphone output with a 3.5 mm jack can be used.

The new 4K OLED monitor has its own operating system, webOS 5.0, is installed on an 8 GB internal memory and also offers picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture modes. The 31 kg LG UltraFine OLED Pro (65EP5G) comes with a VESA mount (300 x 300 mm) for wall mounting. Remote control is included as well as the software applications SuperSign for White Balance and LG Calibration Studio.

Recently, LG has also announced that the exciting UltraFine OLED Pro Monitor: LG 32EP950-B with 32-inch and the LG 27EP950 OLED PC monitor with 27-inch 4K UHD panel. The price of the new OLED gaming monitor is quite a bit lower than expected for a 27-inch model, but the large OLED display is still not cheap.
