ViewSonic VX2705-2KP-MHD Monitor with AMD FreeSync and WQHD

With the VX2705-2KP-MHD, ViewSonic is launching a new IPS LED monitor with distinctive gaming features. The QHD display uses an IPS panel with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and AMD FreeSync Premium.

With the 144Hz gaming monitor model of the VX series, ViewSonic has always addressed both classic office applications and multimedia content. With its numerous features, the new VX2705-2KP-MHD appeals more than ever to ambitious hobby gamers.

The 144 hertz monitor uses a “SuperClear” IPS panel with 27 inches, which scores with a WQHD resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels, a brightness of 350 cd/m², and a static contrast of 1,000: 1. The other top features of the ViewSonic VX2705-2KP-MHD also include the refresh rate of 144 Hz, support for AMD FreeSync Premium, and the rapid response time of 1 millisecond (MPRT).

In addition, the ViewSonic VX2705-2KP-MHD offers special presets for different usage scenarios, a DisplayPort (1.2), HDCP (1.4) as well as two HDMI connections (2.0) and a 3.5 mm sound jack. Two integrated 2-watt speakers provide the sound, and the monitor can also be tilted 21 degrees.

ViewSonic declares the VX2705-2KP-MHD with an energy consumption of 21 to 28 watts in eco mode. For common usage scenarios from multimedia to gaming, ViewSonic specifies between 34 and 51 watts for the VX2705-2KP-MHD. The QHD monitor from ViewSonic still consumes 0.5 watts in standby.
