HP’s powerful business mini desktop, the Elite Mini 800 G9, receives a significant performance upgrade with the introduction of Intel Raptor Lake processors. With space for up to three SSDs, a range of connections, and an external 150-watt power supply, this HP Mini desktop CPU offers a versatile and efficient computing experience.
Although the Elite Mini 800 G9 gets a processor boost, HP has kept other features unchanged, leading them to retain the same name for this upgraded model. Compared to last year’s Elite Mini 800 G9, the latest version with Intel Raptor Lake promises even better performance.
The top HP Mini desktop CPU model is expected to feature the Intel Core i7-13700, boasting eight performance cores with clock frequencies reaching up to 5.2 GHz and eight efficiency cores. It remains to be seen if HP will offer a model with the Core i9 processor as well. The mini-computer accommodates two M.2 SSDs and a 2.5-inch SSD, along with two SO-DIMM slots for RAM. It also supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. The compact case measures 17.7 x 17.5 x 3.4 centimeters and weighs 1.42 kilograms.
On the front, the HP Elite Mini 800 G9 provides two USB-A ports, USB-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, while the back features three USB-A ports (10 Gbit/s), Gigabit Ethernet, two DisplayPort 1.4, and one HDMI 2.1. The mini PC utilizes an external 150-watt power supply, allowing for a more compact design that enhances portability between home and office.
