EIZO FlexScan EV2490 office monitor with KVM switch

With the EIZO FlexScan EV2490, a new portable external display monitor for business and office use with a 23.8-inch diagonal will soon be available. The built-in IPS panel has a 1920×1080 pixels (Full HD) resolution with a maximum refresh rate of 60 Hz and covers the sRGB color space.

The external display monitor has a 1000:1 contrast ratio, the brightness is 250 cd/m², the response time is 5 ms (grey to gray), and the color depth is 8 bits.

“Auto EcoView” uses a sensor to measure the ambient brightness if necessary and dynamically adjusts the brightness of the monitor to save power and protect the eyes. Integrated speakers are also part of the device, but not a sync technology against tearing for games. On the connection side, DisplayPort, HDMI, RJ-45, a USB 3.1 hub, a headphone output, and USB-C with DisplayPort alternate mode and 70 watts of the power delivery can be used.

Daisy chain functionality is just as given as a KVM switch. According to the energy label, the power requirement of the EIZO EV2490 is just 9 watts. Thanks to rotation, inclination, height adjustment, pivot, VESA mount (100 x 100 mm), blue light filtering, and flicker-free backlighting, hardly any wishes should remain unfulfilled on the ergonomic side.
