EIZO, founded in Japan in 1968, has presented a new business monitor with the FlexScan EV2485. The LED display has an IPS panel that measures 24.1 inches diagonally, has a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels (WUXGA) at a maximum refresh rate of 60 Hz.
The Eizo monitor has a contrast ratio of 1000: 1, the color depth is 8 bits, the response time is 5 ms (gray to gray), and the typical brightness is 350 cd/m². The sRGB color space is covered over a wide area. Integrated loudspeakers are just as much a part of the equipment as a blue light filter and flicker-free background lighting.
For connectivity, this EIZO 24 inch monitor has DisplayPort, HDMI, a USB 3.1 hub, a headphone output, and USB-C with DisplayPort alternate mode and 15 or 70-watt power delivery are available. Therefore, docking station functionality is also there.
In addition, the is advertised with DICOM tone value characteristics. The Eizo monitor can be rotated, tilted, height-adjusted, pivoted, or mounted on a wall or swivel arm using a VESA mount (100 x 100 mm). The EIZO FlexScan EV2485 weighs 4.9 kg and measures 531 x 344 x 54 mm (W x H x D) without the stand. The typical power requirement is estimated at 12 watts.
The manufacturer does not use harmful paintwork or chemicals in the production of the model, relies on recycled material, and plans to publish it in October 2021.
