Marshall unveils Willen, a compact, waterproof Bluetooth speaker

With the Willen, Marshall has introduced a compact best sounding portable Bluetooth speaker for on-the-go, which is intended to offer a loud, powerful sound despite its compact dimensions. The new Marshall Bluetooth speaker has waterproof housing, long battery life, and a chic design complete the package.

Marshall Willen is the smallest speaker from the manufacturer yet. With dimensions of around 10 x 10 x 4 centimeters and a weight of 310 grams, Willen is predestined for use on the go. Marshall promises a battery life of over 15 hours, a full charge via USB-C takes three hours.

The portable speaker relies solely on Bluetooth to connect to a smartphone, and there is no Wi-Fi module or smart features. In return, Marshall promises powerful sound, which is made possible by a single 50-millimeter driver in conjunction with two passive radiators and a 10-watt class D amplifier. The Marshall speaker Bluetooth device should reproduce frequencies from 100 Hz to 20 kHz at a volume of up to 82 dB (SPL at a distance of one meter).

The sound can be adjusted to your preferences using an equalizer in the Marshall app. The housing is PVC-free, made from 60 percent recycled plastic, and is IP67-certified, i.e. protected against water and dust. An integrated microphone makes it possible to use will as a hands-free system. A single button on the front allows you to take calls or control the volume. Stack mode allows multiple wills to play the same music at the same time.
