Marshall Emberton II with stack mode, 20 watts of power, and 30 hours of battery

Marshall unveiled a new version of the Emberton speaker, the best portable Bluetooth speaker comes with some interesting upgrades, including a 50 percent longer battery life and a stack mode that allows multiple speakers to be connected.

Marshall introduced the Emberton II portable speaker. At first glance, the device looks almost identical to its predecessor, and the dimensions remain unchanged at 16 x 6.8 x 7.6 centimeters. The same applies to the weight of 700 grams and to the two 50 millimeter drivers, each of which is paired with a 10-watt amplifier.

Marshall Emberton II is said to be able to reproduce frequencies from 60 Hz to 20 kHz at a volume of 87 dB (sound pressure level from a distance of one meter). What’s new is that the portable speaker can be connected to the Marshall app, giving users access to an equalizer and updating the firmware. Stack mode can also be set up, which allows multiple Marshall speakers to play the same music at the same time.

The battery lasts 50 percent longer than in the previous model, and according to the manufacturer, it can play music for up to 30 hours. A full charge via USB-C takes around four hours. The IP67 certification ensures that the speaker is protected against water and dust, even being fully submerged at a depth of one meter for a maximum period of 30 minutes.
