BenQ GP500 4K HDR projector with 360-degree sound and image correction

At CES 2023, BenQ is showcasing the finest projector for home theater: the BenQ GP500. Equipped with a 4K HDR and an array of exciting features, this projector offers exceptional performance. With its 2D keystone correction, autofocus, and 360-degree sound system, the best BenQ projector for home theater can be easily set up and adjusted to suit any viewing environment.

BenQ used CES 2023 to show off a range of new BenQ projectors. Among them is the GP500, which has an interesting feature and is a flexible and mobile projector.

According to BenQ, the DLP projector has a “True 4K HDR” resolution, which means it projects 3,840 x 2,160 pixels onto the wall or screen. In addition to HDR, it also supports HLG. The manufacturer specifies the contrast ratio as 100.00:1, the brightness of the image via a 4-LED light source with 1,500 ANSI lumens. According to BenQ, the lifespan of the light source is 20,000 hours in normal mode and 30,000 hours in Eco mode. The new GP500 BenQ 4K projector covers 90 percent of the DCI-P3 color space and 97 percent of the Rec.709 color space.

Thanks to the 1.3x zoom, the best BenQ projector for home theater throws a 100-inch image onto the projection surface from a distance of around 2.2 to 2.9 m, for 150 inches it is 3.3 to 4.3 m Autofocus, projection size adjustment, automatic 2D keystone correction, and obstacle avoidance are also available.

The integrated sound system with four loudspeakers also ensures that the projector can be set up particularly flexibly. Because the 360-degree sound adapts the playback to the respective seating position. Players can be connected to the BenQ GP500 via two HDMI 2.0b and two USB-A ports.
