ASRock PG34WQ15R3A 2K Curved Gaming Monitor with UWQHD and Mini-OLED

The manufacturer ASRock, which belongs to the Taiwanese group Pegatron, entered the monitor market in 2022 with the ASRock PG27FF1A and PG34WQ15R2B and announced a series of new models at the CES 2023. At this moment, we talked about its best 2K freesync monitor called ASRock PG34WQ15R3A.

The built-in VA panel has a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels (UWQHD, 21:9) at a maximum refresh rate of 165 Hz, is curved with 1500 R, and is DisplayHDR-400 certified. In addition, a 3000:1 contrast, 550 cd/m² typical brightness, 8-bit color depth, 115 percent sRGB, and 91 percent DCI-P3 are promised. An indication of the gray change is missing.

FreeSync Premium eliminates tearing in games. Two internal 2-watt speakers are also available. On the connection side, there are two HDMI 2.0 inputs (UWQHD at max. 100 Hz), a DisplayPort 1.4 (UWQHD at max. 165 Hz), a headphone output, and USB-C. The latter supplies power for the RGB lighting – and for the small 1.3- inch OLED screen embedded in the center of the base, on which images or GIFs can be displayed.

The ASRock PG34WQ15R3A 2K curved monitor comes with a 7 dBi WiFi antenna that can be connected to the PC and amplify the signal. In terms of ergonomics, the 34-inch 2K WQHD monitor comes with rotation, tilt, height adjustment, VESA mount (100 x 100 mm), blue light filtering, and a flicker-free backlight.

The typical power consumption of the best 2K freesync monitor is estimated at 65 watts, and the weight without the stand at 6.53 kg.
