ViewSonic has unveiled a top-notch best 27 inch HDR monitor for gaming, the OMNI VX2728J. With a 27 inch 1080p IPS panel, the monitor boasts a maximum refresh rate of 165 Hz and VESA’s ClearMR 5000 certification, guaranteeing 45 to 55 times sharper moving image sharpness than blurred pixels.
Furthermore, it offers a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 8-bit color depth (6-bit + FRC), 132% sRGB, 90% DCI-P3, and 250 cd/m² typical brightness, as well as HDR10 support. However, the monitor’s weak brightness values and lack of dimming zones limit the potential of HDR support.
For under $200, this is still the best 27 inch HDR monitor for gaming on the market, complete with FreeSync Premium and a mode to prevent image blurring.
