Canon has introduced a new camera for vlogging, the Canon PowerShot V10. This small Canon vlogging camera is not aimed at professional photographers but instead targets streamers and vloggers.

New camera for vlogging Canon PowerShot V10

Canon recognizes the importance of new trends such as streaming, and has responded with a camera system that is user-friendly and ideal for vlogging beginners.

The Canon vlog mode camera can be used for live streaming on YouTube and Facebook with the help of a smartphone app. The camera can also be used as a webcam, and recordings can be made via WiFi. This feature-packed camera covers all the basic needs of streamers and vloggers.

Measuring only 63.4 x 90 x 34.3 millimeters and weighing around 210 grams, the small Canon vlogging camera is equipped with a 1-inch CMOS sensor, which allows filming in Full HD as well as 4K resolution. The viewing angle is specified as 97.5° with Full HD video recording and a 16:9 aspect ratio. A digital stabilizer is included, but not an optical one.

The Canon PowerShot V10 also features a stereo microphone, and external microphones can be connected through a 3.5 mm jack. It also has mono speakers and an HDMI output for outputting image content. However, geodata can only be recorded in conjunction with a paired smartphone. It is worth noting that the USB type C port operates at USB 2.0 speed. With these features, it could be the best vlogging camera with mic under $450.

The Canon PowerShot V10’s battery is permanently integrated and can record 4K videos for up to 55 minutes. It also comes with a built-in stand.

Canon V10 price and release date

The camera is available for pre-order from Bhphotovideo.com and Adorama.com for $429, with delivery scheduled to begin on June 15th. It is a reasonably priced vlogging camera with a microphone and other features that make it a great choice for vlogging beginners.
