The default interface is organized in a “Two Layer mode”, it has three operating screens on which there are placed all applications, and there is a separate application menu. In ” One Layer Mode” all app icons will be placed on the Home screen.
Asus Zenfone 3 Laser is equipped with NXP Smart AMP, enhances four times higher volume level. From the built-in software point of view, everything is good, there is a special tool, where you can select the equalizer modes, including intelligent audio adjustment or manual frequency settings. Dual microphone noise cancellation technology allows for voice during calls.
Camera
The device has a 13-megapixel sensor from Sony, f/2.0 aperture lens and a laser autofocus system, focuses in just 0.03 seconds.
The camera interface of the Zenfone 3 Laser comes with a numerous shooting modes, providing for almost every situation such as HDR Pro, Beautification, Super Resolution, Low-light, QR Code, Night, Depth of field, Effect, Selfie, GIF animation, Panorama, Miniature, Time rewind, Slow motion, or Time Lapse. For example, there is a manual mode with a maximum shutter speed of 32 seconds. To use it, of course, requires a tripod.
Laser autofocus system allows to obtain clear images even in adverse conditions such as low light. The camera produces good pictures with rich colors and high clarity. The only drawback is that the photos are often slightly dark, but with the HDR Pro mode, we can clearly see what will be the effect.
The camera is equipped with an electronic image stabilisation (EIS) system, which allows to make smooth video without the use of a tripod. During movie recording, you can take photos without interrupting the recording.
For selfies, there is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with Beautification mode to enhance your self-portrait, and also allows you to edit selfie in real time like to adjust skin tone, adjust the shape of the face and eye size, and so on.
Battery
Battery capacity is 3000mAh, according to the manufacturer the battery is capable of providing standby time up to 22 days, 20 hours of talk time on 3G, 15 hours of web-surfing, and 12 hours of video playback. In the real test, Zenfone 3 Laser play continuous video up to 7:30 hours (HD and Full HD videos, screen brightness to maximum). In high-end games its quickly discharged from 17-20% per hour, depending on what type of game you play.
