Asus announced two professional monitor screens with IPS display, frameless design, 100% sRGB coverage, Rec.709 color space, and factory calibration of color rendering (Delta E <2). The new Asus monitor screens are Asus ProArt Display PA248QV and ProArt Display PA278QV. One of the advantages of the new monitor screens is the exclusive ProArt Preset and ProArt Palette tools for quick and fine-tuning of all monitor parameters. The ergonomic stand of the presented models allows you to adjust the height of the screen, rotate, and tilt it to achieve the maximum comfortable position.
The ProArt Display PA278QV is equipped with a 27-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and is great for editing photo and video materials. The ProArt Display PA248QV is also equipped with an IPS display, but a smaller one – with a diagonal of 24.1 inches with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels.
The WQHD resolution (2560 x 1440) in the larger ProArt Display PA278QV model means that the matrix uses 77% more pixels than conventional monitor screens with Full-HD resolution. Such detailing is great for professional photo processing. The PA248QV has an unusual aspect ratio – 16:10. The vertically enlarged workspace will be appreciated by programmers, users of media content creation applications such as Adobe Photoshop or Premiere, and all those who place documents side by side on the screen during work. For both Asus monitors, the screens are enclosed in thin frames that not only look attractive but also allow you to easily create multi-screen configurations.
The ProArt Display PA248QV and PA278QV monitor screens support 100% sRGB coverage and Rec. 709 color spaces. This means brighter, more saturated colors, as well as a more accurate, realistic display of each color cast. The minimum deviation of color accuracy (Delta E <2) ensures that the colors in the final version of the project will look exactly the same as in the process.
Correct reproduction of each shade is necessary for professional image processing, so the ProArt Display PA248QV and PA278QV monitors undergo factory calibration of color reproduction, and the Calman Verified mark is an additional guarantee of its high accuracy. In addition, monitors pass a series of tests, during which the smoothness of color transitions, which is also extremely important for professional work with images, is checked.
The new ProArt Display PA248QV and PA278QV monitors feature exclusive ASUS ProArt Preset and ProArt Palette tools. The ProArt Preset function allows you to instantly switch between predefined settings profiles adapted for various tasks: color correction, video editing, or photo editing. ProArt Palette is a tool for fine-tuning monitor settings, including a choice of shades, color temperature, and gamma. All manipulations with the settings are done through the intuitive on-screen monitor menu.
Thanks to these tools, the ProArt Display PA248QV, and PA278QV monitor screens allow you to quickly select the optimal settings for each type of work or fine-tune the color rendering settings yourself.
