For those who prefer a more normal physical monitor experience in their home, Acer says a user could do a lot worse than the new CB273U. Its IPS panel supports 8-bit color with a nominal delta-E value of approximately 1 and is TÜV and Eyesafe certified.

A feature of the CB273U Acer 27 inch monitor is a built-in docking station with a USB Type-C port. You can add a second screen by connecting a laptop to it, a wired Gigabit Ethernet network connection, and a KVM switch that allows you to switch between a desktop computer and a laptop with one set of peripherals to your mobile computer configuration with just one cable. In this case, the laptop can be powered by the same cable. The maximum power consumption is 90 watts.

The Acer monitor supports HDR10, and color accuracy is ensured by factory calibration with Delta E <1. The Acer 27 inch monitor supports AMD FreeSync technology and the response time is 1 ms. The WQHD monitor uses Acer BlueLightShield Pro and Acer Flickerless technology to reduce eye strain. The Ergostand stand allows you to adjust the height, tilt, and rotation of the screen.

Price and availability

The Acer CB273U monitor is on sale via the Amazon.co.uk store, and it will cost £495.78.
