Nokia G21 with 6.5″ 90Hz display, 50MP camera, 5050 mAh battery

Nokia phones UK has formalized the announced successor to the G20 – Nokia G21. The new Nokia smartphone comes with large batteries for significantly longer run times – which can be handy as the new Nokia phone feature a 90Hz refresh rate display, a first in the series.

Nokia G21 emerged with a Unisoc T606 SoC that drives a 6.517-inch HD+ display with an 8MP selfie camera in a waterdrop notch. These specifications may not seem very encouraging. The new Nokia smartphone has a display with a 90Hz refresh rate for the first time in the history of the G series. OEM also claims that the G21 will also be able to take ‘stunning’ photos with a new 50MP sensor, and retains the 2 MP Macro + 2 MP depth cameras.

However, Nokia’s new 5,050mAh battery is the star of the show. It is designed to allow the new G-series phone to last up to three days on one charge. It charges using an 18W USB Type-C port, although the G21 comes with a 10W charger.

The Nokia G21 also packs a few potentially useful software features, the most notable of which are ExpressVPN and Spotify (with a 3-month trial for the former). However, its operating system is simply “Android 12 ready”, which means it has the company’s operating system 11 version ready to use.

The Nokia G21 price in UK is £149.99 and is already listed on the Amazon.co.uk store in Dusk color.
