The YN 50mm F1.8S DA DSM is a new autofocus lens designed for Sony E-mount. This is a first Yongnuo lens for Sony mirrorless cameras, it is designed for use with APSC format mount, has a compact and lightweight design with a weight of only 146 grams.

Digital Stepping Motor (DSM) has a quick start and stop, high focus accuracy, and quieter focus, which is suitable for taking photos and recording videos. An internal focusing design also limits the overall length of the lens during use.

Autofocus (AF) and manual focus (MF) are supported and also equipped with a USB interface, so you can download the latest firmware to this Yongnuo lens.

New Sony E mount lenses feature large aperture range f/1.8 to f/16 allows you to get a soft and beautiful blur effect, as well as also useful for shooting in low light conditions. This lens design suit working in difficult lighting conditions and also helps to achieve a compact overall form factor.

The lens uses 7 blade diaphragm and 7 groups with 8 elements with a nano multi-layer coating of the optical structure, including one glass lens with low dispersion, which not only better suppresses the dispersion problem, but also improves the secondary spectrum.
