Xiaomi Mi VR Headset Launched in China, Priced at $30

Along with the Flagships Mi Note 2 and Mi Mix smartphones, Xiaomi has launched a virtual reality headset for smartphones in China. New Xiaomi Mi VR has been priced at Yuan 199 – approximately $30 USD or 1,962 INR, and will soon be available to buy in White color only. Xiaomi Mi VR

New Mi VR is an upgraded version in both design and user experience compared to previously launched Xiaomi MI VR Play headset. Like many other virtual reality headsets, Mi VR is also based on Google cardboard to enjoy VR content on the smartphone you have to put in this glass.

The Mi VR headset has an anti-vertigo design which will be quite comfortable even when worn for an extensive period. The Chinese company says, we have a lot of VR content including games, movies, and 360-degree panorama content called Hello Mars. There are over 500 panoramic videos, 30 VR apps, and over 200 registered developers providing content for the headset.

While the company also adds the headset is meant for Xiaomi devices, it adds the headset will work with Mi Note 2, Mi 5s, Mi 5s Plus, and Mi 5. No further compatibility details on other Xiaomi handsets or Android devices, it might be compatible with smartphone with screen sizes between 4.7 and 5.7 inches, and comes equipped with a gyroscope.
