Meizu China on Tuesday introduced another affordable phablet – the M5 Note in Beijing, China. The device was the successor of the popular M3E, Metal and M3 Note smartphones, most of the features and design are inheriting from them. The feeling that the Meizu Phones simply transferred design and specifications from M3E line in the Meizu M5 Note, but increasing the battery capacity and adding more options for storage. 
The handset will be available in four colors including Sky Gray, Champagne Gold, Moonlight Silver, and Glacier Blue. The Meizu M5 Note price in China is set to CNY 899 – approximately $130 for 3GB RAM + 16GB ROM model, CNY 999 – approximately $146 for 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM variant, while the model with 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM has been priced at CNY 1499 – approximately $218. It will go on sale from December 8 in China.
The Meizu M5 Note features a 5.5-inch LTPS display with Full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution that can translate a pixel density of 403ppi, high 450 nits brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio and 2.5D curved glass protection on top of it. It is powered by a 1.8 GHz octa-core processor which supported by 64-bit MediaTek MT6755M Helio P10 chipset paired with Mali-T860MP2 GPU. It packs in 3GB / 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM, and 16GB / 32GB / 64GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 128GB. 
On the camera front, the M5 Note flaunts a 13-megapixel primary autofocus camera with Sony sensor, PDAF that focuses in just 0.2 seconds, f/2.2 aperture and dual tone LED flash. It has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and ArcSoft’s algorithm to capture stunning self portraits and quality video calling. The M5 Note also comes equipped with a mTouch 2.1 fingerprint sensor placed in the Home button to unlock the device in 0.2 seconds.
The handset runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow -based on Flyme OS 5.2 and upgraded to Flyme OS 6. It packs a 4000mAh battery with mCharge support. It supports dual SIM slot with dual standby, For connectivity includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, microUSB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack options. It measures 153.6 x 75.8 x 8.1 mm and weighs 175 grams.
