Along with the S11S, Gionee mobiles also announced the S11 smartphone at its global winter event in China. The highlights of this Gionee S11 come with FullView display and dual front and rear camera setup. Gionee S11 price in China is CNY 1,799 – approximately $272 and it come in Blue, Gold and Rose color options. It will available from December 2017 in China.
Gionee S11 Specifications
The Gionee S11 features a 5.99-inch IPS LCD display with full-HD+ (2160 × 1080 pixels) resolution and 18:9 2.5D curved glass layer on top of it. The body of the S11 is made out of glass and metal, featuring a “shiny” finish with optical nano coating and a “3D-curve” design that’s apparently inspired by cars.
The handset is powered by a 2.5 GHz octa-core processor which packed by MediaTek Helio P23 16nm chipset coupled with 800MHz ARM Mali G71 MP2 GPU and 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM. It packs a 64GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 128GB.
On the camera front, the Gionee S11 comes with a dual rear and front camera setups: a 16-megapixel + 8-megapixel at the rear and 16-megapixel + 5-megapixel at the front – with real-time bokeh effect and Face Beauty 4.0 that’s capable of applying different effects based on skin color and face shape. The selfie camera can be triggered via the fingerprint scanner at the back, which can also be mapped to trigger different apps.
The Gionee S11 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with customised Amigo OS 5.0. It also features a game mode will stop notifications from coming in when you are playing a game or watching a video. There is also a rear fingerprint sensor to unlock the device and packs a 3410mAh battery. It supports hybrid dual SIM slot with dual standby, For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, and 3.5 mm audio jack options. It measures 159.5 x 77.7 x 7.8mm and weighs 165 grams.
