Asus Vivostick with 2GB RAM and Intel SoC Unveiled at IFA 2015

At IFA 2015, Asus unveiled a new Computer Stick – Asus Vivostick, based on the Intel Compute Stick.

Asus Vivostick is a very small, compact and light device. Its size very similar to one of the digital pen, very lightweight only 70 grams, it can easily be put into pockets, backpack and travel bags. The manufacturers designed this small PCs in three different colors such as Black, Blue and White. It comes with a Windows 10 OS, priced at just $129 slightly lower than the Intel Compute Stick $149.

Asus Vivostick is a computer with a basic configuration, run 14nm Intel’s Cherry Trail processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There is a 2x MicroUSB 3.0 port to plug in peripherals such as hard drives or connect to other devices. It has a 3.5 mm jack to plug in headphones or external speakers; there’s Wi-Fi 802.11n standard and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity as well. It also has an HDMI port to attach to the computer or TV screen and turned into all in one desktop computer.

This year a lot of firms in Taiwan launched this type of compact PCs and Asus also contributed with its special Vivostick PCs.
