BenQ LW500 WXGA projector with SmartEco mode and 2,000 ANSI lumens brightness

The BenQ LW500 new smart projector, designed for the office, has arrived in the United States. This WXGA projector has a brightness of up to 2,000 ANSI lumens and a contrast ratio of 20,000:1. The laser light source has a lifespan of up to 30,000 hours, thanks to SmartEco mode technology that optimizes brightness.

The BenQ LW500 1080p projector has been launched in North America. This new smart projector is designed for meeting rooms, with a brightness of up to 2,000 ANSI lumens. The WXGA projector has a laser light source with a lifespan of 30,000 hours; you can extend this life by using SmartEco mode, which optimizes brightness. A glass lens allows the product to deliver clear images with a contrast ratio of 20,000:1.

The screen has Rec coverage. 709 by 98% with 1.07 billion colors. The LW500 features a 1.55 to 1.7 throw ratio and 1.1x zoom, and automatic vertical keystone correction helps quickly perfect the image. Instant on/off lets you turn the device back on within eight seconds of turning it off, and anti-theft features include a Kensington lock. You can connect to the projector via one USB-A port and two HDMI ports, with 33.4ms input lag at 1080p@60Hz resolution.

The Business projector can operate quietly with an output noise of only 28dB and comes with a built-in 2W speaker and 3.5mm audio jack. The gadget measures 296 x 20 x 229 mm (~11.7 x 4.7 x 9.0 in) and weighs 2.3 kg (~5.1 lbs).

You can now buy the BenQ LW500 new smart projector for $699 at Amazon.com, Bhphotovideo.com, and Adorama.com online retailers.

BenQ recently introduced the GV11 smart projector. This battery-powered best portable projector has a video playback time of up to 160 minutes and a sound system with audio modes tuned by treVolo.
