BenQ GV11 portable projector revealed with Android TV and treVolo Audio

The BenQ GV11 smart projector has been unveiled. This battery-powered best portable projector has a video playback time of up to 160 minutes and a sound system with audio modes tuned by treVolo. The built-in Android TV 10 app lets you watch content from the most popular streaming services, as well as use Google Assistant voice commands and Chromecast.

BenQ has announced the GV11 portable DLP projector. The camera’s lens can be rotated, allowing for a wide range of projection angles, with automatic vertical keystone correction to perfect the image. This inexpensive 480p projector has an LED light source with a brightness of 200 ANSI lumens and can project an image 203cm wide from a distance of 2.3m, thanks to a throw ratio of 1.3.

A 270° 5W audio system, with treVolo-tuned audio modes and bass extensions, is built into the GV 11. Additionally, sound diffusers on each side of the gadget enhance the audio experience. The BenQ DLP projector comes with Android TV 10, which lets you stream content through apps like Prime Video, YouTube, and Hulu.

It also lets you control the device with Google Assistant voice commands, or you can use the accompanying smartphone app. You can stream content from your smartphone via Chromecast or Apple AirPlay; you can also connect gadgets via the HDMI and USB-A ports, with 51ms input lag at 1080p@60Hz resolution.

The best portable projector is battery-powered and offers up to 160 minutes of video playback or 240 minutes of audio playback. The smart projector is compact, weighing 0.97 kg and measuring 113.5 x 153.3 x 140 mm, and can operate quietly at 23 dBA.
