A new UK-based Smartphone company Wiley Fox unveiled two smartphone – Storm and Swift. Both of these devices runs on Cyanogen 12.2 OS-based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop platform.
Both of these are mid-range smartphones characteristics very similar to the Yu Yureka devices. Even the main feature called its pre-installed Cyanogen OS is same. The company intends to sell its smartphones in North America, Western Europe and Russia. It is expected that Wileyfox Storm and Wileyfox Swift will only be available for purchase through the online shop, not for offline stores. Let’s take a closer look to them.
The Wileyfox Storm flagship model features a 5.5 inch IPS display with Full-HD resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. It is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 MSM8939 chipset, a 1.5 GHz Octa-core Processor and coupled with a 3GB of RAM. There is a 32GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expandable via microSD cards up to 128GB.
The Wileyfox Storm bears a 20 megapixel BSI camera with Sony Exmor IMX220 sensor and LED flash that can shoot Full HD slow motion video at 1080pixels, while there is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera to capture high-quality Selfies. For connectivity includes 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, MicroUSB 2.0 and FM-radio. It supports Dual SIM and a 2500mAh Battery. The Wileyfox Storm will be sold for £199 – approximately $311.
On the other hand, Wileyfox Swift features a 5.0-inch IPS display with HD resolution of 720×1280 pixels. It is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Quad-core Processor and coupled with a 2GB of RAM. There is a 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expandable via microSD cards up to 32GB.
The Wileyfox Swift comes with a bears a 13-megapixel BSI camera with Samsung S5K3M2 sensor and dual LED flash that can also able to shoot Full HD slow motion video at 1080pixels, while there is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera to capture wonderful Selfies. For connectivity includes 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, MicroUSB 2.0 and FM-radio. It supports Dual SIM and a 2500mAh Battery. The Wileyfox Swift will be sold for £129 – approximately $201.
