Netgear has unveiled the Nighthawk RAXE300 WiFi 6E router. The new gigabit router operates in three frequency bands, providing a total speed of up to 7.8 Gb/s.
The pandemic has boosted demand for high-speed wireless home Wi-Fi connectivity as more people shifted to remote work, education, and entertainment. WiFi 6E routers help address bandwidth bottlenecks by adding a new 6GHz band. At the same time, two streams are organized in the 6 GHz band, four streams in the 5 GHz band, and two streams in the 2.4 GHz band.
The Nighthawk RAXE300 gig router has six antennas for a stable connection and delivers more capacity, stronger and more reliable connections, and less interference to your devices. The Netgear nighthawk router configuration includes a 2.5GbE port that can be used to connect to the Internet or connect to a device on the local network that needs more bandwidth, such as network storage.
It is backward compatible with IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac WiFi, powered by a Quad-core 1.7GHz processor and for security, it packs NETGEAR Armor Advanced cyber threat protection for your home network and your connected devices.
In addition, there are five more Gigabit Ethernet ports for wired connection to other home devices and an IoT hub. Aggregation of two Gigabit Ethernet ports is possible. Up to 8 simultaneous WiFi streams ensure everyone in your house enjoys no-lag AR/VR gaming, uninterrupted 8K streaming, and smooth video calls all at the same time.
