TP-Link has announced the Deco XE75 Pro AXE5400 WiFi 6E Mesh system, designed to build cellular (mesh) wireless networks with a large coverage area. The solution complies with the 6GHz WiFi or IEEE 802.11ax standard.
It is allowed to work in three frequency bands – 2.4, 5, and 6 GHz. In the first case, the bandwidth can reach 574 Mbps, in the other two – 2402 Mbps. You can connect up to 200 client devices with this 6GHz WiFi Mesh.
It is based on a processor with four processing cores operating at a clock frequency of up to 1.7 GHz. The design provides for the presence of four built-in antennas. There is one Ethernet network port with data transfer rates up to 2.5 Gb/s and two ports with a speed of 1 Gb/s.
When using one Deco XE75 Pro module, a coverage area of up to 270 m2 is provided. In configurations with two and three modules, this value increases to 500 m2 and 670 m2. The devices are cylindrical with dimensions of 105 × 105 × 169 mm.
