Cosina has introduced the Voigtlander Color-Skopar 18mm F2.8 lens, specially designed for Fujifilm X-mount mirrorless cameras. This lens features electronic contacts for seamless communication with the camera.
According to the manufacturer, the Voigtlander Color-Skopar 18mm F2.8 lens boasts a rugged all-metal body that is highly durable. Despite its compact and lightweight design, it offers purely manual focusing and a mechanically controlled aperture ring.
The lens is known for producing beautiful bokeh effects, thanks to its 10-blade aperture. It has a minimum focusing distance of 0.17 meters.
Designed for Fujifilm X-mount and APS-C optical format matrices, the Voigtlander 18mm F2.8 lens provides a viewing angle equivalent to a 28mm full-frame lens. Its optical design is optimized specifically for Fujifilm X system cameras’ image sensors.
Fujifilm Corporation highlights the built-in electronic contacts that ensure stable and reliable communication between the lens and Fuji cameras. Additionally, the lens supports the use of matrix image stabilization (IBIS) for compatible camera models.
